Rental Policy

RENTAL PROCEDURES
 

Pricing
 
Rates are quoted for a daily, single use rental. We normally allow a 72-hour period to accommodate delivery and pickup. Items rented for a weekend event would typically be delivered on Thursday or Friday and picked up on Monday or Tuesday. If you require a longer rental period, please contact us for rate information. All charges are for time out whether used or not. 
  
Payment 
Final payment is due 1 week prior to the event delivery or customer pickup. Starting in 2012, a 5% Convenience Fee will be applied to ALL orders paid by credit card  
  
Identification 
A valid Driver’s license or another major form of I.D. is required.  
   
Reservations 
Early planning ensures product availability. A 50% deposit is required to confirm the reservation. A deposit is requested within two weeks of providing a quote in order to secure the equipment for the date desired.  
 
Order Changes 
Final changes to item counts need to be placed 7 days prior to an event. Complete cancellations made prior to 2 weeks of the event will receive a refund of 50% of the initial deposit. This amounts to 25% of the entire order. Cancellations made within 1 week of the event WILL NOT receive a refund. NO REFUNDS ON SPECIALTY ORDER ITEMS  
 
Broken Damaged and Missing Rental Items
The customer is responsible for the equipment from the time of delivery until the time of pickup. Be sure equipment is secured when not in use and protected from the weather. Our insurance does not cover equipment while it is in your possession. The customer may be charged as much as $100 for each wooden table damaged by the rain. 
   
Security and Cleaning Deposits 
Most items require a deposit to cover any additional changes that need to be assessed for soiled or missing items. This deposit is returned to the customer after we have received the rental items back in clean, good working order.  
   
Damage Waiver 
A damage waiver fee of 10% is an OPTION available to renters. This fee relieves the renter of liability of accidental damage to rented items. EXCLUDED from this waiver are any loss or damage due to theft, burglary, mysterious disappearance, mildewed linens, intentional damage, misuse, abuse, or failure to care for rental items as one would their own property. Example of damage waiver coverage: accidental such as chips, cracks, broken china, crystal and barware; stains, burns and tears in linen and skirting; physical damage to tables or chairs. All damaged/broken items must be returned. MISSING ITEMS ARE NOT COVERED. Damage waiver fee is NON-REFUNDABLE.  
 

DELIVERY AND PICKUP 
 
 
Delivery and Pickup Charges 
 
Delivery fees are determined by delivery type, zip code, and order size.   
    
Backyard Delivery – The lowest cost form of delivery. Your rental items are delivered neatly stacked in the back yard of a residence or inside the door of a commercial property.    
   
Custom Delivery – Your rental items will be carried to and from a place beyond your backyard, and if you wish, set up and take down. Please contact us in advance of delivery/pickup to arrange for these services so that your delivery will be appropriately scheduled and staffed. The fee for a custom delivery is determined by the time required to honor your requests. 
  
Security and Weather Protection 
All items should be placed in a secure, weather protected place.  
  
Delivery Times 
Delivery routes are finalized on the morning of delivery. Since time and care are part of each delivery, a specific delivery time is not available. Our trucks will deliver until their schedule is completed.  
  
Signature 
It is best to be at home on the day of delivery to confirm the quantity and condition of items. If you know you will no be available, please call our office for an alternative arrangement.  

  
Preparing Rental Items for Pickup 
Rental items need to be returned to their point of delivery. China, glass and flatware should be rinsed free of food and placed back in their supplied container. Linens should be folded, food free and dry to prevent staining and mildew. Tables and chairs should be stacked prior to pickup.
